Suspect arrested for murder outside Fresno church

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspect has been arrested for a murder in March that happened outside a northeast Fresno church.

Investigators say 19-year-old Lorenzo Anderson shot a 17-year-old to death on March 31st. They believe it happened after a drug deal went bad in the parking lot of a church near Ashlan and Chestnut.

It's unclear what evidence is linking Anderson to the murder. He faces charges of murder, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon. He could be in court as early as Wednesday.
