Highway 41 closed near Coarsegold after multi-vehicle crash

CHP officers shut down Highway 41 in both directions Sunday afternoon after multiple cars collided, the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities say the wreck happened at Highway 41 and Road 406, 12 miles south of Coarsegold, at about 1:30 p.m.

Crews are working to clean up the road and reopen the highway.

Authorities say three vehicles are involved in the crash and the people in those vehicles suffered minor injuries.
