FRESNO, Calif, (KFSN) -- Wind pushed a grass fire towards nine Fresno County homes Sunday afternoon, but firefighters cut it short of doing major damage.
About six acres of dried-up grass burned out off Alluvial and Highland Avenues.
Firefighters say it was a chaotic scene when they got there, with the fire jumping into eucalyptus trees and horses going wild to get away from the flames.
But it calmed down within about 30 minutes as they got ahead of the fire's path and knocked it out.
Investigators say it started near a travel trailer and they're looking for the person who was inside it because whoever it was left as firefighters showed up.
