Woman killed in DUI crash near Lindsay

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol says one woman was killed and another person is in the hospital with major injuries because of a drunk driving crash Sunday in Tulare County.

It happened near ear Lindsay at Avenue 232 and Road 201.

Authorities believe the drunk driver, who survived, crashed into the victim.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

The investigation is still ongoing and authorities haven't released the names of the people involved.
