Man rescued from house fire in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in the hospital Sunday night after being rescued from a fire in his northeast Fresno home.

First responders say they found the man in his 30s at a home in the Bullard and First area.

They say there was a fire in his room where he was found unconscious.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading.

The man was taken to the hospital.

The cause of that fire is under investigation.
