3 firefighters hurt after 3-alarm fire in Exeter
Three firefighters were hospitalized for the heat, including two of them who also suffered minor burns in the fire.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three Tulare County firefighters were hurt Thursday afternoon as they battled a 3-alarm blaze in Exeter.

The fire broke out at an abandoned warehouse at Firebaugh Avenue and 1st Street at around 4:30 p.m. Three firefighters were hospitalized for the heat, including two of them who also suffered minor burns in the fire.

Crews managed to get the fire under control around 6:30 p.m. after the warehouse suffered an untold amount of damage.

All the firefighters are expected to be released later in the day.

Crews will continue mopping up into the night as the cause of the fire is being investigated.
