FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This morning the Central Valley is getting ready to kick off Pitbull's Bad Man Tour.

Grammy award winning performer "Pitbull" announced in May that he would launch his tour right here in the Central Valley. He's definitely not the first. Paul McCartney just 2 months ago did the same.

Save Mart Center's Steve Tadlock says bookings for the venue are continuing to come in for what's considered one of their biggest years.

"2016 has been really a stellar concert year for us. Coming out of the recession we see a lot of tours going out. We're seeing people spend discretionary income," said Steve Tadlock, SMG Regional Vice President. "We're on track right now to have the busiest concert year since the first year we opened."

Local businesses in the area definitely don't mind the influx of customers. Nearby we have at least 10 different restaurants surrounding the venue. They are gearing up for Pitbull tonight.

The next big names to come to the Save Mart center are James Taylor next week, Gwen Stefani in August and Blink 182 in October.

If you don't have tickets for Pitbull yet it's not too late. Tickets are still available at Live Nations website ranging from $30 to $140.

Tonight's concert starts at seven. Traffic advisory is in effect for the surrounding area, so you'll want to give yourself plenty of extra time.

After tonight, Pitbull heads to Inglewood for a show tomorrow then heads to the Bay Area.
