1 killed in Visalia crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead and another is recovering after an overnight crash in Visalia Saturday.

The crash happened on State Route 201 and Road 156.

Police say a man driving a pick-up truck veered off the road onto the shoulder then back across the road into oncoming traffic.

The truck traveled right into the path of a big rig causing both vehicles to run off the road and into a pole.

The driver of the truck died.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
