FRESNO, Calif. --Detectives say a man was walking near Peach and Olive around 11:40 Sunday night. He was confronted by a car full of men, who started yelling things at the man, before one of them fired a gun.
The man was hit in his lower body. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition. He is expected to survive.
Police say they have a description of the suspect's car.
"We have the victim telling us, and witnesses telling us, that there was a red, four-door compact vehicle. Older model, similar to a Toyota," said Lt. Dave Ramos, Fresno Police Department.
Detectives say this shooting may have been gang-related.
