Death of 3 farm workers in Kern County may have been caused by the extreme heat
The extreme heat may be responsible for the deaths of three farmworkers this week in Kern County.

KERN COUNTY (KFSN) -- The extreme heat may be responsible for the deaths of three farm workers this week in Kern County.

According to the United Farm Workers, three women died this week possibly due to the heat. All of the women were grape farm workers.

One died in Bakersfield, a second near McFarland, and a third in Delano.
