Fresno Bee ends local printing operation as production moves to Sacramento
The newspaper states that it's become one of the most expensive printing operations in the country because of it's age and costly technology.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sunday's issue will be the last time the Fresno Bee is printed in Fresno.

Its printing and packaging operations will now take place in Sacramento at the Sacramento Bee.

The newspaper states that it's become one of the most expensive printing operations in the country because of its age and costly technology.

President and publisher Tom Cullinan said the Bee will remain a seven-day-a-week printed newspaper but will continue to grow digitally.
