In Le Grand, firefighters are still investigating what sparked a grass fire that charred 75 acres in a matter of hours.

LE GRAND, Calif. (KFSN) -- In Le Grand, firefighters are still investigating what sparked a grass fire that charred 75 acres in a matter of hours.

Authorities said the fire started just after five Sunday night near Birchell and Santa Fe Avenues. The fire destroyed a power pole, causing it to fall across Santa Fe Avenue. It also got close to nearby railroad tracks.

The roads were closed to through traffic for hours, but the fire now 100 percent contained.
