Fresno Fire needs help identifying possible arsonist caught on camera
The Fresno Fire Department is hoping you can help them identify an arson suspect in a surveillance video from a Southeast Fresno Walmart store.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Fire Department is hoping you can help them identify an arson suspect in a surveillance video from a Southeast Fresno Walmart store. Authorities believe he may be responsible for setting a fire at the superstore on July 22nd.

In the video, you can see the man hanging around the back of the store at Peach and Kings Canyon where all the wood pallets and cardboard is kept in a storage area behind the building. He paces back and forth behind the store-- acting suspiciously, coming in and out of view of the camera multiple times.

When the man finally leaves the area smoke can be seen a few minutes later, blowing from the left side of the screen. The black smoke gets thicker before the camera finally pans over and you see the whole storage area up in flames.

Other cameras catch the man leaving the area. If you recognize him you're asked to call authorities.
