FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- We all know the summer games in Rio are well underway-- but the paralympic summer games won't kick off for another month. But a Valley native we've featured in our good sports franchise will return to defend his gold medal.
Lemoore's Jeff Fabry beat his competition in the archery competition in London four years ago. The 43-year-old Fabry lost most of his right arm and right leg in a motorcycle accident when he was 15.
He told Action News in 2012-- when he picked up a bow and shot an arrow at a target some 17 years ago-- Fabry was immediately hooked.
Rio will be Jeff's 4th paralympic games.
