Power outage impacts 900 Downtown Fresno PG&E customers including Fresno PD

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Nine-hundred PG&E customers lost power in Downtown Fresno. It happened just before one Tuesday afternoon.

One of the customers affected was the Fresno Police Department. Also impacted was the Fresno County Plaza Building, which houses thousands of Fresno County employees in various departments-- including the DA's office, Child Support Services, and Public Works.

PG&E does not know the cause of the outage, but is investigating a possible transformer failure.

All power was restored to the impacted customers.
