Big Fresno Fair holds a a job fair
Job seekers, today is your day! The big fresno fair is ready to hire for another busy season.
The Big Fresno Fair is holding their 6th Annual Job Fair on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be accepting applications to fill nearly 500 positions for the 2016 Big Fresno Fair.
Available positions include: parking and ticket sellers, ticket takers, parking attendants, customer service representatives, janitorial staff, maintenance staff, horse racing staff, security guards, concessions and more. Again this year, the Fair is looking to fill all of these positions directly from those attending the Job Fair.
"We are looking for hardworking candidates with excellent customer service skills who can will help Fairgoers feel like they're right at home when attending the Fair," said John C. Alkire, CEO of The Big Fresno Fair. "By holding a Job Fair like this, our Department Supervisors are able to meet with a variety of qualified candidates and fulfill the large number of season staff needed to put on the annual Big Fresno Fair."
Fair management said they are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a high level of customer service.
Applications will be available to fill out on-site, or you can download and fill one ahead of time at http://www.fresnofair.com/fairgrounds-employment, then make copies prior to attending the Job Fair. Interested applicants must also bring their photo ID.
