Strength training, as you may know, is the best way to trim down, tone up, and get into shape.
Reaching for the 10-pound increase in weight isn't going to help you. Add two or three-pound increments and add more sets and reps- always keep it at your level.
Include exercises like barbell lifts, squats or rows to your weekly training schedule. Strength training is also beneficial to sculpt your curves and keep your muscles tight.
When creating a routine you want to look at your body and decide what areas you want to focus on. Work on those key areas first and you will be motivated when you see the results.
The routine you make should be to your goals and your benefit so listen to your body and stay within your limits.
