$1 IHOP pancakes raise money for hungry children
If you head out to your local IHOP today, you can get a short stack for just one dollar, with proceeds fight childhood hunger.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- If you head out to your local IHOP today, you can get a short stack for just one dollar, with proceeds fight childhood hunger.

IHOP is teaming up with No Kid Hungry Again for their nationwide campaign to combat childhood hunger. Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., for just $1, you can get a short stack of buttermilk pancakes. All the proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry.

More than 16 million children suffer from hunger nationwide. At least one in every five children across the U.S. Struggles to get the food they need to grow and thrive.

Since its launch in 2008, dine out for no kid hungry has brought together thousands of restaurants and millions of consumers to raise more than $28 million.

Through September 25th, IHOP is also accepting donations for no kid hungry.

The goal on Tuesday is to serve 1 million pancakes.
