Police are looking for two suspect in involved in a deadly shooting in Central Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are looking for two suspect in involved in a deadly shooting in Central Fresno.

Just before midnight on Thursday, police say a man was shot at Belmont and Mariposa, and then ran to Fresno Street and White Avenue. He was then rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died.

His name hasn't been revealed, but police say he was in his thirties.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the neighborhood. They're looking for two suspect. They are also looking for any witnesses.

"His girlfriend was with him. She's only providing limited information right now. Detectives are trying to talk to her. Obtain more information about the suspects," said Lt. Dave Madrigal, Fresno Police Department.

Belmont was closed in the area as officers investigate. It should be re-opened before major traffic makes its way through.
