FRESNO, Calif. -- It was an evening filled with jazz Saturday as dozens of people came out to enjoy A Toast to the Town out at Playland in central Fresno.

There were several live bands and a food tasting from local restaurants. Proceeds from the event went to benefit all to benefit underserved Youth and Arts programs funded by the Cultural Arts Rotary Club.

"We have an instrument program where we collect gently used instruments and give them to students who, perhaps, can't afford to rent them," Elva Rodriguez with the club said.

This was the first year a toast to the town was held at Playland and ABC30's Kevin Musso emceed the event.
