FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Monday morning, dozens of veterans are getting ready for the trip of a lifetime.
Monday morning, 65 veterans from 24 hometowns in nine different counties throughout the valley are getting on the Central Valley Honor Flight. This is the 11th Honor Flight to take off from Fresno-Yosemite International Airport.
It's the ultimate thank you for their service. Veterans will spend the next few days visiting the memorials that were built in their honor.
The homecoming celebration is planned for this Wednesday at 6 p.m.
