Fire destroys abandoned home in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are looking for the cause of an overnight fire in Southwest Fresno. It sparked at an abandoned home at Trinity and Tuolumne just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday. Firefighters were able to protect the homes nearby, but the home that burned is a complete loss.

Investigators say someone may have broken in and somehow started the fire.

Firefighters are now telling the public to report any suspicious activity around abandoned homes in your neighborhood to help prevent damage like this.
