Fresno Police search for carjacking suspect

FRESNO, Calif. -- A woman's truck and dogs have been safely recovered after a morning carjacking in West Central Fresno.

The woman told police she was driving near Shields Avenue and Blythe when a man flagged her down. She said he was limping and asking for help. When she stopped to talk to the man, he pulled her out of the truck and sped off.

The truck was found about five miles away in a church parking lot at McKinley and Vista. The woman's purse and some other valuables were stolen.
