METH, MOLOTOV COCKTAILS FOUND AFTER SUSPECT FLEES VISALIA PD
Bobby Castaneda, 50, was arrested on Wednesday after Visalia Police say they found a half pound of Methamphetamine, a scale, a replica gun, and four Molotov cocktails.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Bobby Castaneda, 50, was arrested on Wednesday after Visalia Police say they found a half pound of Methamphetamine, a scale, a replica gun, and four Molotov cocktails after the suspect ran from officers.

Visalia Police say they were about to serve a warrant at Castaneda's home, on Jacob Street near Grove Avenue, when he drove by. Officers followed him and attempted to pull him over, but he took off.

Several blocks away, Castaneda ran from his car at an apartment complex, on NW 1st Avenue and Encina Street, and hid inside an apartment. Police say they surrounded the apartment and took Castaneda into custody with the help of a K-9. Officers found the black bag he was carrying, which they said had a half pound of meth and a scale.

When they later searched his home, they found more scales and packaging materials -- along with four Molotov cocktails.

Bobby Castaneda was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained when he was taken into custody. He faces multiple charges including Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale, Possession of a Destructive Device, Sales of Narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school, as well as other warrants from northern California.
