A coffee shop in northeast Fresno was converted into "Luke's Diner" for the day to celebrate the return of Gilmore Girls.
Hundreds of Gilmore Girls fans waited for hours to be a part of a celebration for the return of the TV show.
Yellow Mug Coffee Shop in northeast Fresno was one of 250 locations around the country chosen by Netflix to take part in this national celebration. They sent the coffee shop some coffee cups, sleeves with "Luke's Diner" printed on them, and aprons for baristas to wear. People waited as early as 5:30 a.m. to stop by the converted coffee shop -- which also played episodes of the show on a TV inside.
Five-hundred free coffees were handed out.
