Car crashes into canal in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are looking for a suspect who crashed a car into a canal after a chase around 2:30 Friday morning.

The suspect ran away after the crash near Del Mar and Fedora in Central Fresno. The car rolled into canal, but there was only about a foot of water in it.

Police searched the area for the suspect for about an hour or so, but were unable to find them. They are looking for witnesses who may have seen the crash.
