Elderly couple stabbed in Northwest Fresno, police searching for family member

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- UPDATE: Kenith Jordan has been arrested, police said.

Authorities are searching for a suspect Saturday night after an older couple was stabbed in Northwest Fresno, police said.

Police are looking for 20-year-old Kenith Jordan after a 68-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman was slashed in the neck and face at their home near Marks and Emerson Avenues. The couple was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with serious injuries but are expected to survive.

It's not clear what Jordan's relationship with the victims is but police said he is a family member. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Police are in the area investigating what led up to the stabbing.
