ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- Six people are without a home after an apartment fire in Atwater. The fire destroyed one apartment and damaged two others on Bellevue near Crest Road.

A woman who lived inside said one of her dogs died in the flames and she was only able to salvage a couple of pictures-- everything else was lost.

"I still can't believe it, I can't stop crying-- I've been crying all night. Nothing left-- Just glad that God spared my children and my fiance and me," said Francis Finn, apartment destroyed by fire.

Cal-Fire said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Damage is estimated to be about $60,000 to $80,000.
