Man in critical condition after drive-by shooting in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are the scene of a shooting near C Street and San Joaquin.

The 27-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot in the back during a drive-by shooting.

Police say he was standing right in front of his house when he was shot. A witness we spoke with said they saw the victim clutch his back.

The victim was responsive when he arrived at the hospital and told officers he believes a white car drove away after he was shot.

Police have not released any suspect description as of yet.

Police do not know yet if this shooting is gang related.
