The nationwide manhunt to find a murder suspect with Valley ties is now in its fourth day.

Michael Vance, 38, shot six people including two police officers in Oklahoma. He is accused of murdering his aunt and uncle during the crime spree.

Vance hasn't been seen since Monday and was last reported to be heading to Nevada.

"It has expanded to a nationwide manhunt," said Sheriff John Whetsel, Oklahoma County. "He could be trying to make it to Mexico or California."

Officials are considering the possibility that Vance may be dead because he was shot during an exchange of gunfire with police on Sunday.

Police are concerned because Vance is HIV positive and he may try to spread the virus.

Vance has ties to the Valley. His family is from Kingsburg, and he also has relatives in Clovis.
