Officer crashes into suspect during Fresno County chase
The crash happened around 9 a.m. when the officer attempted to stop Francisco Parra for a stop sign violation in the area of Boston Avenue and 5 1/2.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Saturday after he was hit by a police cruiser in Kings County.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. when the officer attempted to stop Francisco Parra for a stop sign violation in the area of Boston Avenue and 5 1/2. The officer was following close behind Parra with his emergency lights on when Parra made a right turn. That's when the police officer hit Parra and sent him off his motorcycle.

Parra was transported to a Selma hospital but investigators said he was wanted on several outstanding warrants and will be booked into the Fresno County Jail once released.
