FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --A few professional football players in the making got a chance to show off their skills Sunday in a free competition hosted by the NFL.
The Central Sectional Competition of the NFL Punt Pass and Kick program was held at Lafayette Park in Fresno. Students as young as six and as old as 15 competed for free tickets to the Oakland Raiders game.
In total, 10 winners got to take home the glory, one winner from each age group. Their scores were based on accuracy and distance and students from Turlock all the way to Bakersfield got to participate.
And the highest scorer is advancing to the team championship, so the prizes don't end here for some.
