16-year-old shot multiple times in Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 16-year-old is in critical condition after being shot several times in Southeast Fresno. The police department's shot-spotter detected the gunfire just before 8:00 Wednesday night.

Investigators said the teenager was walking down the street near Lane and Willow when he was confronted by someone with a gun.

Police are still gathering evidence at this point-- however, they do believe this shooting involves gangs.
