Clovis West students making the Valley proud by competing in a National Marching Band Competition

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Clovis West is in Indianapolis participating in Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Field.

Friday night we learned out of 100 bands Clovis West was chosen along with 30 others to compete in the semi-finals.

Clovis West is the only school that has never appeared in the national semi-finals before.

They are scheduled to compete on Saturday.

About 200 people from the Central Valley are there including the team, their parents, and the team's coaching staff.
