6 puppies killed in Central Fresno fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fire in Central Fresno is under investigation that happened near Shields and Del Mar.

The fire was confined to the garage; however the family dogs were inside.

Two adult animals were able to escape, but sadly six puppies were killed.

The Red Cross is now helping the human occupants and their surviving pets find shelter.
