Man injured in Central Fresno hit and run

FRESNO, California -- Police shut down parts of Shields near Teilman this morning to investigate a hit and run.

Officers say a father and his daughter were crossing the street when an older, full-size white truck struck the father. The driver then took off.

Police say the daughter was fine and is cooperating with law enforcement. The father, suffered a head injury and a broken ankle. He is being treated at a hospital.
