Unofficial results show Madera Co Measure L likely fails

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- With 100 percent of precincts reporting, 56-percent have voted no on Measure L and 44-Percent have voted Yes.

Most of the money would have gone toward the County Fire Department to improve staffing, stations, and resources. A percentage would have also gone to the Madera County Sheriff's Office.

Measure L needs two-thirds of the vote for approval.
