Shooting investigation in Central Fresno

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- Fresno Police are investigating a shooting incident on Lewis Avenue near Thesta Street in Central Fresno.

Police responded to calls of shots fired to find a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

Police are still on the scene.

There is no word on a suspect.
