DA files charges against former Central Unified teacher accused of sex with minor

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A former high school teacher accused of having sex with a minor is now facing charges.

The District Attorney filed four counts against Michael Morton, including unlawful sexual intercourse and child molestation. The former math teacher worked at Central High School, West Campus for 10 years.

Sheriff's deputies said Morton became inappropriate with a student after she graduated but was still a minor at the time.

Morton will be arraigned on Monday.
