Malloch Elem Library worker accused of inappropriate conduct with teenager

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- Fresno Police arrested a Fresno Unified library technician Thursday morning. Cameron Ward, 25, works at Malloch Elementary School in Northwest Fresno. He is accused of inappropriate contact with a teenager.

During the investigation detectives say they identified and interviewed a second high school victim.

Authorities said Ward met the minors in 2013 and allegedly assaulted one of them during the 2014 school year.

Ward is also accused of sending inappropriate photos to one of the victims.

School district officials said they first became aware of the issue Wednesday.

Investigators said there is no evidence right now the inappropriate behavior happened at the elementary school.

Ward is currently on administrative leave.
