Several displaced after early morning fire in makeshift structure

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Illegal power connections were discovered by firefighters putting out a blaze behind a Central Fresno home.

The fire was called in just before seven at this home on Belmont and Poplar. When firefighters arrived, they found several people were living illegally in the back of the home with illegal power connections to makeshift structures.

Ten to twelve people were displaced by the fire. There were no reports of injuries.
