UC Merced celebrates commencement of largest graduating class

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The largest graduating class from UC Merced are celebrating their accomplishments.

The first set of commencement ceremonies took place Saturday and will continue into the next day.

Roughly 1,200 students are graduating this weekend, bringing the total number of alumni to more than 7,000 people.

Fresno State's commencement is next Saturday at the Save Mart Center.
