2 men stabbed, 1 fatally, in Atwater

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Atwater are investigating after one man was stabbed to death and another suffered an injury to his leg.

Atwater police were called to a home on High Street near Grove Avenue around 4 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, officers found a man outside the residence with a stab wound to the leg. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A second man was located inside the home with a stab wound to the chest. Officers performed CPR on him while paramedics arrived. He was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Investigators have not said whether any arrests have been made.
