2 shot, 1 fatally, in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead and another is injured after being shot in Visalia early Sunday morning.

Visalia police say a male shooting victim flagged down officers in the area of Northwest 2nd Avenue and Locust Street around 3:15 a.m. He was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

Officers say they then located a second shooting victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. That person's identity is being withheld until family members are notified.
