2 teens arrested in Merced robbery case

FRESNO, Calif. -- Merced Police have arrested two teenagers after a series of break-ins at one business.

Thieves have targeted the gift zone 12 times since April, and the crimes have been caught on camera. The owners added bars to the windows -- so the suspects recently tried smashing through the wall of a restaurant next door to get into the shop.

Late Monday night, officers caught two 15 year olds hiding in the bushes nearby. They say the young suspects had a backpack with burglary equipment and were wearing clothes that match the surveillance videos.
