Authorities investigate a homicide in Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Lemoore Police Chief confirmed they are investigating a homicide in the area of Hanford Armona Road and Belinda Drive.

Investigators say the victim is an adult male and that police are actively looking for suspects and following leads.

At the scene, one vehicle had crime scene tape draped over it and an evidence technician was examining the car before it was towed away. However, we do not know how that vehicle is involved in this investigation.

This is Lemoore's second homicide of the year. The first was a week ago today, when police responded to an apartment complex just down the street for a stabbing victim. Wanya Jones, 16, died later at the hospital.
