Sanger principal receives heartwarming welcome back after battling cancer

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Valley principal received a heartwarming reception after being absent while she battled cancer.

Sanger Academy students, teachers and even the cheer squad welcomed back Principal Christy Platt to school today after being gone for several months.

And clearly, the whole campus was excited to have her back.
