Flood warning in effect for Merced River in Yosemite National Park
The Merced River is once again flowing so fast and so high that it has surpassed the ten foot flood stage at the Pohono Bridge.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced River is once again flowing so fast and so high that it has surpassed the ten foot flood stage at the Pohono Bridge.

Officials say this can cause flooding in the western portion of the North Pines Campground -- specifically at the east end of Yosemite Valley between the confluence of the Merced River and Tenaya Creek.

The warning is in effect through later this morning.
