Philanthropists getting ready to saddle up for a good cause

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Community members are saddling up to benefit a local non-profit that provides therapeutic equestrian activities to Valley residents.

The Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community, PINC, Stampede benefiting Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch, which provides therapeutic riding as a treatment for children with disabilities.

PINC's mission is to raise funds for other Central Valley non-profit organizations based on the evolving needs of the community and do so by hosting unique fundraising events. Particular focus is placed on non-profits who serve women and children.

The event is this Saturday at 5:30 p.m.; tickets are $75 and can be purchased online at PINCFresno.org.
