Police car involved in crash in Northeast Fresno, 2 injured

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people are recovering after a collision at one of Fresno's busiest intersections and one of the victims is a Fresno Police Officer.

The police car was headed east on Shaw at Fresno Street with lights and siren on around 8:30 Monday night when a Ford F-150 truck ran into the side of the police car.

One officer was complaining of pain and was taken to the hospital.

The passenger in the truck also went to the hospital, the extent of her injuries is not known.
